Example Job Assignments
Browse the "Ultimate Mystery Shopper Directory" - either in the Employment Source Book or in our On-Line Database.
Choose the company or companies that sound good to you (you'll have over 150 to chose from). You call, write, fax or e-mail them to apply and request an assignment. When you fill out the form properly and neatly, and e-mail, fax or mail it back to the company as required. They will then "program you in" as one of their mystery shoppers.
From there they will contact you and you will be offered assignments which you can accept or decline. Assignments include going to the movies, going out to eat, shopping at a retail store, or visiting a theme park. You can work for as many companies as you wish and earn as much extra income as you like.
Example 1
You are contacted by one of the companies you are working for. They want you to go see a movie in the next few days. They provide you with a check list. Questions might be, how many people were in the movie theater for the show? Were the bathrooms clean? Did the movie play without interruption? Were the employees friendly and courteous? Did the show start on time? What show did you see? Was the lobby clean? Your tickets are paid. Depending on the company, you may receive other compensation such as cash, travel expenses, etc.
Example 2
You are contacted by one of the companies you are working for. They want you to go out to eat at a nice restaurant in the next few days. You and your spouse go out for a nice evening dinner. You are required to fill out a questionnaire on your experience and return it to the company you are working with. You may be asked: Was the restaurant clean? Was the waiter friendly? Did you enjoy the food? Was the food hot or cold as appropriate? Was the service timely? Did you order dessert? Would you go back and eat there again? Everything is paid for and you may receive other compensations as well depending on the company you are working with.

"I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much I enjoy being a
Mystery Shopper. I have been working as a Mystery Shopper for about one
year. I have been able to enjoy dining out, going to movies and more, and
it's all paid for by the companies I work for. Each company usually gives
two to three weeks to complete an assignment. This way I can go out at my
convenience. I have always been paid on time...
